Cloud Solar for Productive Uses
We’re thrilled to announce the imminent launch of a new product in the Cloud Solar range for Productive Use of Renewable Energy (PURE) applications.
Cloud Solar is Inclusive Energy’s range of smart charge controllers with remote monitoring and switching. They are used by companies around the world to enable data driven operations. Cloud Solar helps companies to monitor their solar assets, so they can offer ‘energy as a service’ and also account for their carbon reduction impact.
The new product - CS Smart PWM 40 - has specifically been designed for use with larger, productive use systems including:
Cold storage
Agri-processing
Water pumping
E-mobility
E-cooking
Stand-alone solar energy systems including larger solar-home-systems and streetlights.
The new product is a significant upgrade on the first version of the product which was launched in 2020. Salient improvements include:
Maximum charging and load current of 40A (up from 20A)
System voltages of 12, 24 and 48V (from 12 and 24V)
4G communications now optional available as well as 2G
Incorporates the Open Paygo Token for those that require PAYGO functionality
Local data storage in case of poor network connectivity
Dual-port USB fast charging
OLED display to provide information directly to end-users and technicians
Capability for additional sensors to be added according to customer requirement
Final testing is ongoing now, with the first units soon to be dispatched to Nigeria. A general product release will follow.
