Inclusive Energy provides energy entrepreneurs with the transformative digital tools they require to scale up their off-grid energy solutions – bolstering global energy access and climate change mitigation in the places where it is needed most.
Why we do it.
Billions of people lack access to modern energy services. One possible future for energy provision amongst the under-served consists of centralised fossil-fueled powergrids and wood-fuel for cooking. Or we can scale up alternate clean approaches in a distributed manner – much of which can be done 'off-grid’.
This approach will result in much lower emissions from emerging economies, and enhanced local value capture in the energy sector.
