Powering Nigeria's Future: PAM Africa Introduces Cloud Solar for Smarter, PAYG Financeable Energy.

Lagos, Nigeria 6th November 2025 - PAM Africa, a leading provider of solar energy solutions in West Africa, has signed a distributorship agreement with UK-based technology company Inclusive Energy, part of the Sistema.bio group. Under the agreement, PAM Africa becomes the exclusive distributor of Cloud Solar in Nigeria. This new partnership aims to impact over 280,000 rural households and businesses in 3 years.

Cloud Solar, developed by Inclusive Energy, is an advanced remote monitoring system built into a charge controller package and designed for solar installations, powering home energy use or productive use systems such as electric cookers or milling machines up to 2kW. The platform enables users and operators to track system performance in real time, ensuring higher reliability and efficiency for solar assets. Beyond monitoring, Cloud Solar integrates a widely used Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) tokening system, a feature that allows solar providers and financiers to offer affordable, flexible payment options to households and small businesses.

“This exclusive distributorship represents a major milestone for PAM Africa and for Nigeria’s renewable energy landscape. With Cloud Solar, we can empower solar operators, financiers, and customers with real-time insights, transparent financing, and better control over their energy use. It’s a product built for inclusion and sustainability - values we share deeply with Inclusive Energy.” said Dr. Patrick Agese, CEO of PAM Africa

The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of smart solar technologies across Nigeria’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector, supporting rural electrification, productive-use systems, and small commercial installations. PAM Africa will use the technology as the brain of their PAM Meter system for use in their own operations, and for distribution to other companies in Nigeria.

“We’re thrilled to partner with PAM Africa to bring Cloud Solar to Nigeria, for use within their PAM Meter system. Their deep market knowledge, strong partner network, and commitment to expanding access to clean energy make them the perfect ally to scale our technology in one of Africa’s most dynamic solar markets.” added Vijay Bhopal, Product Director at Inclusive Energy and Sistema.bio.

With the combination of remote monitoring, data analytics, and PAYG capabilities, Cloud Solar is set to make solar energy more affordable, reliable, and financeable than ever before.
